Description: As the vibrant colors of summer give way to the warm hues of autumn, it's the perfect time to revitalize your outdoor space through container gardening. Join GFS Horticulturist Jen Mothes for a workshop designed to inspire and equip you with the knowledge and skills to create a stunning fall planter. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to select seasonally appropriate plants, how to utilize principles of design when creating your container garden, and how to maintain your planter throughout the season. Participants will be provided with all materials (including a pot, soil, and plants) to create a stunning autumnal planter to take home with you. This is a hands-on workshop – you will be working with soil and plants, so please dress appropriately. Admission to GFS and supplies included.
