GFS Member Trip to Storm King Art Center and Dia Beacon takes place Monday, October 19, 2026. Bus will leave GFS promptly at 7:45am and return to GFS by 7:30/8pm. The bus has stairs and a restroom.

Our first half of the day will be spent at Storm King Art Center, a 500-acre outdoor museum where we will experience large-scale sculpture and site-specific commissions among peak fall foliage. Upon arrival to Storm King, our group will enjoy a private tram tour to see the layout of the expansive grounds. The rest of our visit will be open for self-guided exploration at Storm King. Explore independently, or you're welcome to explore with GFS staff!

In the afternoon, we will enjoy a self-guided visit exploring Dia Beacon, an art museum located on the banks of the Hudson River in a former Nabisco box-printing factory. Dia Beacon’s expansive galleries present the majority of Dia Art Foundation’s collection of art from the 1960s to the present as well as special exhibitions.

Members-only price $145 includes round-trip coach transportation and admission to both Dia Beacon and Storm King with private tram tour. Please note: Meals are not included. Both locations have a Cafe. You're welcome to bring your own meals and snacks for the bus.
